SYNOPSIS
JAPAN - In August 2008, the board of Kappa Create Co Ltd (KC), an owner and operator of sushi restaurants, completed the repurchase of 4.8 mil ordinary shares, or about 20.61% of the company's shares outstanding, from its 31.13% owned shareholder, Zensho Co Ltd, for 1,875 Japanese yen ($17.076 US) in cash per share, or a total value of 9 bill yen ($81.963 mil).
