I live in a state where public transportation will take you just about anywhere.

Because my employer, Brown University, pays a lump sum for public transportation, all employees and students can ride anywhere, anytime for free with the swipe of our ID cards.

On summer days I ride my bicycle to work and on rainy days I take the bus. This also alleviates parking headaches.
