Green Glass's Goblets
Green Glass's Goblets
Christa and Brian Roome collect empty bottles from wineries and tasting events around the country. At their studio in Weston, Wis., the artists use flameworking torches and cutters to refashion the bottles into new glassware. To make these blue goblets, the artists cut bottles in half and heat-seal the necks, then spin discs for the feet.
