There has been a management shakeup at the world's No. 2 mobile phone company. Vittoio Calao will replace CEO Arun Sarin at the end of July. But investors have little reason to complain about Sarin's tenure. During his five years as head of Vodafone, earnings grew dramatically and the company's global subscribers expanded 117%.

With solid partnerships in 25 countries around the globe - including a 45% stake in Verizon Wireless in the United States - the U.K. telecom company should continue to show positive growth for the long term.
